Heading for home

We've had several days where we were unable to post new pictures - now there are new ones at the website below.

We travelled to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon - very beautiful! We walked out onto the rocks shown in the second picture for a better view. Marinan & Buzz wouldn't walk near the edges (yet they will ride their motorcycle to Alaska, Newfoundland, etc.) - go figure!

The next day we went through Monument Valley. This could be the most pretty ride of our trip - breath-taking beauty!
Today we needed to cross the San Juan Mountains in Colorado to get ready to enter the flat-lands of Kansas tomorrow. Climbing and crossing Wolf Creek Pass was very traumatic for Melinda - but we made it. No pictures of that (Melinda was holding onto me too tight to take pictures) - much of the road seemed to be cantilevered off of cliffs and we passed through an Ice Shed (like a tunnel) and also a tunnel.

Marinan & Buzz have been awesome to ride with - they have truly made this part of our trip a wonderful time!

We are currently staying in Walsenburg,m Colorado - tomorrow it's Kansas!

Love to all,

Steve & Melinda
